Strategic HR/Business HR & Strategy - IT/Telecom (7-10 yrs)
Context :
In a rapidly growing organisation which is operating in multiple geographies, more often than not; HR functions and leaders tend to become short sighted. Important & long term game changing action items don't get time and attention (or enough). Hence, the Company intends to create a - thinking- role which sits outside the various HR functions/domains but works very closely with them and ensures that they have those important processes/practices ready in advance. By design this role is required to question the existing practices and replace the non-value adding activities with more forward looking practices
Broad Roles & Responsibilities :
- Understand the business requirements and what HR function does currently to address the same. Identify the gaps and work on addressing them
- Work with various HR domains to drive discipline, change and best practices
- Define the future HR roadmap and strategy
- Focus on problems/areas which no other HR function/domain is able to spend time on
- Look at data, identify trends to create opportunities and interventions
- Work on next level projects in diverse areas of interest like, but not limited to
- Evaluation of a new country (including factors like skill availability, cost viability, political and financial stability) for a potential development/delivery center
- Define Company's approach in talent assessment - hiring and later (for decisions like promotion especially for middle management and above levels)
- Sales or Engineering Productivity
- Culture initiatives like driving collaboration
- Employer branding ROI - how to make it quantifiable
- Driving & supporting diversity

Experience :
- 7 to 10 years of experience in a global environment, preferably in multiple areas
Qualification :
- MBA with specialization in HRM

- High on assertiveness and project management
- Detail orientation, ability to read and present numbers/data/trends
- Hands on and willing to invest time in research/evaluations
- Very good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-motivated and driven
