The Community Marketing role at HCL Technologies is a crucial role handled by marketers who are the early adopters of new media and can create positive brand experience using conventional and unconventional channels. The primary responsibility of this role will be to be thought leaders of the Gen Y community and create strong HCL brand positioning within the this group. The goal of will be to impact talent acquisition & position HCL as an EMPLOYEES FIRST organization.
The incumbent will have to manage ‘youth’ communities developed by HCL Technologies utilizing or ‘owned’ assets and ‘earning’ added footprint across both offline (campus) and online space. The role will be located within the Strategic Marketing Unit of HCLTECH.
Job responsibilities entail
- Brand Evangelism – use traditional marketing tactics as well as new age online tools to promote community as well as mother brand values
- Strategy – Engaging with business leaders to create long-term strategy to build on the community goals to lead to significant impact on HCL brand. Create opportunities to build ‘fresh’ communities to impact business goals.
- Interaction with agency – Coordinate with agency to develop robust offline events to help create significant impact on community
- Thought leadership and Content – be responsible for creating content and artifacts that bridge the external and the internal teams to help engage within the organization and with the community members
Require a strategic thinker who understands ‘youth’ as a category and uses insights derived from their behavior to develop the strategy.
Should be well versed with social media platforms (not necessarily the tools) and marketing frameworks.
An innovator and creative thinker who is interested in pioneering new thoughts and executions.
Demonstrate leadership across geographies.
