Stepathlon - Senior Manager/GM - Sales - North & East (4-7 yrs)

Job Summary -

- The Sr. Manager / GM Sales North & East will lead / co-lead the sales team for the region.

- Responsible for managing and achieving the Sales target set out for his/her region. The Sr. Manager Sales North and East will work as part of the Sales team reporting to the Sr VP/ Sales Head

Responsibilities include:

- Will be responsible for sales function for the region including

- Lead generation and getting client meetings

- The pitch to clients

- Negotiation & closure of deal

- Payment collections (along with support from finance team)

- Client servicing (along with extended team).

- Will be responsible sales target for the region (along with other sales team members of the region).

- Will have to drive and lead the other members of the sales team for the region and overall sales function for the region.

- Development and implementation of sales strategy to ensure targets for the region are met as per deadlines

- Ensure comprehensive coverage and reach with list of companies outlined in target list

- Responsible for client servicing and relationship building to ensure 100% client satisfaction and deep rooted relationships

- Regular tracking and updation of company database and progress of sales efforts with companies

- Seamless connect and coordination with national sales team to ensure overall sales targets are met

- Developing cross selling strategies

- Cross Industry Research and Analysis

- Effective tracking of the market to tap new and prospective companies

- Larger strategy role in identifying market trends through competition analysis, feedback from clients. Will play a key role in building product for future years.

Requirements and Skills:

- 4+ years of work experience (Preferable that some part of that experience is in a prior sales role). Any B2B sales experience would be an added advantage.

- Prior experience of working against targets set and meeting said targets

- Needs to be self - motivated - Will need to work from home / from clients site if required.

- Needs to have experience in the NCR region

- Should have the right temperament (patient as the Delhi market is a little hard to open doors)

- Should have worked with/relationships with HR & marketing teams in companies

- Needs to be inclined to sales and has to have a passion for it

- Needs to be proactive and always one step ahead of the market

- Good oral and written communication

- Good relationships management skills

- Good analytical skills

- Good team management skills

- Needs to be target oriented

Education:

Undergraduate education in English language is a minimum requirement.

Post graduate education with courses in business (sales, marketing etc.) will be an advantage.
