STEER Engineering - Head - Assembly

Job Title: DGM - Assembly

Reports To: Plant Head

Qualification: 15 - 20 years of relevant experience BE (Mechanical ) / Industrial Engg

Job Responsibility:

- Receiving Production Orders from CPCC

- Project Management / Program Management

- Contribution to Pre-Contract Review meetings

- Contribution to Post-Contract review release meetings

- Project Planning of all projects

- Capacity / Resource planning at Assembly Department

- Monitoring, Order Scheduling and Execution of TSE assembly

- Preparation and release of Project Management activity list for every TSE

- Daily / Weekly Project reviews, updating & reporting the status

- Understanding of Drawings - Mechanical / Electrical

- Co-ordination with D&E, CPCC, Commercial, QA and Tech Services for effective project completion in time

- Corrective actions and rescheduling the projects.

- Receipt of material as per BOM for Sub- Assembly, Extruder, Auxiliaries, Spares & additional.

- Preparing final checklist for the projects requirement & customer requirement

- Internal FAT / Final FAT / GMP procedures for Pharma Extruders

- Spares Requirements / Short supplies (Free of Charge / replacements under warranty/ store stock)

- Coordination for Packing and dispatch

- Product costing of TSEs

- Profitability analysis and decisions

- Reduction in cost as per KRAs

- Improvement projects

- Employee engagement programs

- Training and Development of resources

- MIS reporting

- Weekly / LT Dash board preparation

- Process identification and Documentation

- TPM/5S - Lean Manufacturing

- Period end closing activities of TSEs

- Team development

- Training to subordinates

- People management skills
