Statistician  - Act as statistical focal point for Asia region leading the application of advanced statistical methodology, providing statistical direction on high-level priority projects globally and developing approaches for nonstandard statistical problems.  - Provide statistical consulting to executives, managers, internal stakeholders, teams and individuals throughout Technology and Innovation offering statistical solutions to business problems.  - Participate in research and development activities in collaboration with the scientists providing statistical expertise and direction by applying a variety of statistical and experimental design methods leading to the development of solutions resulting in new processes, products, or technologies globally.   - Participate in the assessment and introduction of new statistical methodology for application to a broader practice within the organization. Also collaboration with Universities and research institutions and publishing and presenting the work to the wider applied statistical community.  - Carry out advanced statistical analysis and build group capability by coordinating the training and deployment of key statistical concepts for scientist and engineers as well as teaching seminars in applied statistical methods, data mining, multivariate analysis and design of experiments.   Experience Required :   - PhD with experience in applying statistical methods in R&D and manufacturing settings; Or MS with experience in applying statistical methods in R&D and manufacturing  - Ability to work in collaborative multidisciplinary scientific environment   - Ability to communicate technical results to non-statisticians  - Experience developing and implementing statistical models  - Experience with statistical applications in chemistry and engineering  - Ability to carry out advanced statistical analyses  - Statistical computing skills including software for statistical analysis including, R and Matlab  - Proficiency with statistical software packages including JMP.
