Head of Strategic Projects & Transformation, Corporate Shared Services - VP

Role Purpose

The Head of Strategic Projects & Transformation will drive the transition and optimization of corporate functions, processes and activities moving to low cost locations. The holder of this role with manage a co-located team of Transition Managers and Process Improvement Consultants who lead the day-to-day work necessary to successfully move and improve key corporate processes. As such, this team will be a key component of the new corporate shared services function in India. The Head of Strategic Projects & Transformation will partner closely with stakeholders across regions and business units to identify processes for transition. He/she will manage the intake project intake process, assignment of work to team members, resource utilization, monitoring of outcomes, and overall management of the project portfolio. Additionally, the Head of Strategic Projects & Transformation will directly manage a selection of his/her own projects.

Reporting

The role reports in country into the Head of Service Delivery for Corporate Groups.

Major Responsibilities

- Manage a team of employees of varying levels who provide support to process optimization and transition management activities for corporate groups

- Work with leaders of corporate groups on identifying functions/processes for transition and designing staffing arrangements to meet business needs

- Establish project intake processes, work assignment, resource utilization, and portfolio management to ensure optimization of resource usage

- Develop methodologies and toolkits for migrating and re-engineering corporate functions and processes, including breaking down business issues and translating them into manageable project engagements

- Support the Head of Service Delivery for Corporate Groups in the establishment and growth of the new corporate shared services function

Key background requirements

- Deep expertise in organizational transformation, program/project management, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma

- Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams

- Experience managing complex initiatives that span functions, business units, and geographical regions

- Demonstrated success in organizational change management, transformation, and leading teams to drive change

- Ability to effectively navigate and influence varying organizational levels

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
