Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance - SM/AVP - Investment Mid & Back Office

Key Responsibilities

1) Monitoring Daily Cash Flow across Funds, supporting in optimum deployment of liquid funds

2) Smooth Banking and Settlement across different asset classes

3) Monitoring day to day Bank, Holding, Unit & Cash Flow Reconciliations

4) Affecting various Corporate actions and valuation of Investments as per guidelines

5) Understanding Accounting Schema and its flow in Investment System

6) Investment Accounting - Finalization of Trial Balance & Investment Schedules on monthly basis, both as per IGAAP & IndAS109 (IFRS)

7) Monitoring the computation of daily NAV for all ULIP funds through Investment Management system with desired accuracy levels

8) Facilitate smooth conduct of various Audits - Statutory, Concurrent, C&AG, IRDAI, Promoter and Risk Management; its compliance and reporting

9) Strengthening of MIS & Reporting related to Investments to various stakeholders

10) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) - Back Office: Updation & Implementation of SOP Back Office, following prudent practices and complying with various regulatory guidelines

11) Accounting Policy : Responsible for review and implementation of Accounting Policy of the Company related to Investments including IFRS accounting

12) New Developments and addressing challenges related to Investment Management System

13) Providing Inputs for various Senior Management Committees meetings

14) Coordinating with other Team members and imparting the needed skill set to accept the new challenges

15) Understanding of regulations related to Investment Back Office activities
