POSITION: Lead - Insights and Analytics   DEPARTMENT : Insights & Analytics   LOCATION : Mumbai  TEAM SIZE : 3-4  REPORTING TO : Head- Marketing & Communication- Sports  ABOUT THE ROLE :   CONTEXT & ROLE :   Provide consumer understanding to shape marketing and programming strategy. The route to these insights will be through current and newer methods of consumer and viewer analytics of present and future of Sports on all forms of screens and viewership platform  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :   Analyzing the performance and providing inputs based on consumer understanding of the performance of the Star Sports bouquet of channels:  - Plan and optimize channel FPC basis insights gathered  - Studying trends, markets, and specific TG's of the sport both on STAR Sports and competition. Detect emerging consumer and viewer trends using market research tools and techniques  - Handling commissioned research - qualitative or quantitative, dealing with research agencies  - Analyzing viewership trends and planning actionable inputs across programming and promotion  - Review prior to release all periodic dashboards and reports generated from marketing team to various stakeholders  - Regular report on show health, character strength, awareness levels to aid marketing and programming team  - Feeding into Content Development, inputs to the Marketing on Research conducted  - Visualize and create new methodologies of audience analytics, marketing spend assessment and impact analytics using qualitative and quantitative methods  QUALIFICATION :   - MBA/MS from premier institute with 10+ yrs of experience in consumer research and insights  - Should have initiated break through ideas on the field of consumer insights and buying behavior analytics  KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :   - High evolved knowledge and understanding of consumer insights and Research methodology tools and techniques  PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES :   - Exceptional strong quantitative skill and analytical skills  - Ability to breakdown complex problems into smaller pieces for targeted solves
