Responsibilities for : Head of Supply Chain and Logistics

- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations or laws.

- Collaborate with Clinical departments, Bio Medical Engineering, Quality etc., to identify /qualify new vendors.

- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, contractors, freight forwarders or their representative agencies.

- Monitor Vendor performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.

- Monitor Physical storage and Handling of material and equipment in our warehouses and establish proper systems for delivery of the same to end users ensuring minimum wastage as well as prevent stock outs in consumables and pharmaceutical supplies.

- Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.

- Ensure proper documentation of receipt information to enable smooth processing of payments.

- Ensure proper documentation of issue information to enable accurate stock keeping as well as audit trail of when and where the material has moved.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Graduates/Post Graduates with Specialization in Materials Management

- Healthcare experience is desirable

- Knowledge of Bio Medical Engineering will be preferred

- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical formulations would be a distinct advantage

- Good knowledge of MS Office and practical ERP skills is a must.

- Good interpersonal and leadership skills is essential.

- Knowledge of spoken Kannada will be an advantage.

- High level of integrity is a must

- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team is a must

- Ability to lead a team and achieve results within specified time frame is crucial.
