Sr Role - SAP Implementation/System Intergration - Resources/Energy/Utilities

Key Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible f to help develop technology practice in the Resources oriented industry verticals which would include Utilities, Energy and Natural Resources. The role envisages both business development and service delivery responsibilities with stronger focus on delivery.

Engagement Management: Lead or support project teams in delivery of projects including aspects like - managing project risks, project planning, project delivery, client buy-in etc.

Business Development: Lead / be a part of pursuit teams for scoping the opportunity, shaping the proposal for technology kind of work and more specifically around SAP. Develop / maintain relationships with key client personnel.

People Development: Support the people development initiatives to enable growth. Perform role of counselor and coach to team members, participate in recruitment and other activities.

Competencies and Characteristics

- The individual should have a deep understanding of the Utility sector in India - overall industry dynamics, issues, typical challenges faced by clients and an appreciation of operational aspects of the sector

- Must be comfortable working with client teams and interacting closely with middle / senior management executives

- The individual should have a good track record of selling and delivering systems integration projects in the resources oriented industry verticals.

- The individual should be self-driven and have strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts

- Should demonstrate a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellent communication skills, including strong oral and written communication capabilities

Experience

- A minimum of 4- 12 years of consulting experience

- An excellent, established track record for selling and delivering systems integration projects and preferably on SAP

- Preference for candidates who have consulting background in addition to industry experience. Consulting experience should include managing a team for at least 6 months. Individuals with sales in addition to delivery experience in consulting would be preferred

Experience in either of the following combinations

Experience in either of the following combinations

- Required experience with domestic clients

- SAP BI/BO with very good focus on Management MIS.

- Treasury and BPC

- MM with good command over Ariba and SRM

- SD with good command over CRM.

SAP PS with good exp on MSP and P6 and also exposure to project methodologynds on SAP implementation experience

Educational Criteria

- Graduate from Tier 1 Engineering Colleges or a full time MBA from Tier1/Tier 2 College

- CA preferred
