SAR is an executive search organization.   Our Client, Agilent Technologies (US Based MNC) - www.agilent.com- is the world's premier measurement company and a technology leader in communications, electronics, life sciences and chemical analysis.   We are hiring for:   Experience : 5+ Years   Qualification: CA   Location : Manesar (Near Gurgaon)   Job Description:  General Accounting and Reporting (GAR) is responsible for recording accounting transactions, reconciliations, month end close, and compliance and reporting for various processes i.e. Revenue & Deferred Revenue Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cash & Treasury Accounting, Inter-Company Accounting & General Ledger Management & Close.   This team supports Agilent Business & Finance teams globally with the following key activities:  - Lease Accounting  - Deferred Revenue Reporting  - Business Corrections/Revenue adjustments  - Accounting of Revenue as per US GAAP (SAB 104 etc.)  - Account Reconciliations for Deferred Revenue, Cash In Advance, Suspense, Trade AR clearing accounts, etc.  - Project Billing Reconciliations  Should be able to operate independently, perform complex finance or accounting assignments, including monitoring processes to ensure business controls are adequate and working. Coordinate close activities (month/quarter/year-end) etc.  Providing support to various internal customers/stakeholders for adhoc information requests, troubleshooting & handling special requests.   Implementation of new accounting policies, financial systems or tools impacting the process area.   Manage SOX, Compliance and audit related deliverables and comply with prescribed requirements as per statutes and internal policies.  Qualification:  CA with 5-10 years of Post Qualification experience, with commerce and strong academic background.  - Requires proven skills in leading/managing the execution of processes, people and projects.  - Ability to communicate effectively.   - Ability to influence stakeholders and work with senior management  - Sound knowledge of accounting concepts & principles.
