Senior Research Analyst (media/telecom/retail)-global Firm, Morning/evening/night Shift

Brief overview of the role:

Our Client is one of the world's top five Executive Search Firms with offices in 38 countries across Europe/Middle East, Asia & the Americas. The firm specializes in senior level executive search, board consulting and director search, management and leadership development.

Our Client is looking for a Sr. Research Analyst for their Media/ Telecom/Retail Practice Group based out of Gurgaon. The professional will be responsible for the execution of (external) client assignments as well as (internal) knowledge management projects and will work closely in collaboration with Research and Consultant colleagues around the world as a fully integrated team member on senior-level, international projects.

The ideal candidate should have:

- 2-3 years of Research Experience in Research Organizations, Business Research Outfits, Knowledge Process Outsourcing Firms (KPO- s) / Knowledge Management Centers, Knowledge Centers with good understanding of the Media/ Telecom/Retail industry.

Primary Project Responsibilities Of The Incumbent:

Assignment Research:

- Execute global assignment research for projects determined by the Segment Specialist.

- Demonstrate excellent research expertise and build in-depth knowledge of key markets and talent pools.

- Identify potential candidates through internal/external sources.

- Verify and/or update candidate details on the internal database using external data sources.

- Identify and prioritize target companies through market research.

- Ensure the real-time capture of insights on candidates and companies in the Firm's proprietary database throughout the course of the assignment.

Knowledge Management:

- Partner with the Segment Specialist on key knowledge building initiatives and information sharing activities to support the development of the global Segment.

- Develop specialist knowledge and insights into the trends, strategies and characteristics of the sector and

its leaders.

- Prepare project-specific sector analysis focusing on human capital topics.

- Share Company/Client and Candidate specific updates.

- Record pertinent information in a timely manner; ensure relevant learning's and documents are captured and disseminated

- Contribute to the Firm's knowledge management activities by looking for opportunities to build and share expertise, and develop best practices.

Key Skills/competencies:

- Outstanding written and oral and communication skills.

- Highly effective interpersonal skills to facilitate frequent interaction with colleagues around the world and build effective, trust-based working relationships.

- Skilled in (multi-) project execution - understanding the objectives, defining goals and milestones, updating key stakeholders, ensuring quality of output.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and how to use its programs

- Experience of using large scale, complex databases.

Minimum Education Qualifications:

- Any Graduate/Post Graduate from an accredited academic institution with knowledge of the Media/ Telecom/Retail industry.
