Sr Research Analyst - Industrial/Engineering/Energy

POSITION SPECIFICATION: SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST ( INDUSTRIAL/ ENGINEERING/ ENERGY)

LOCATION: GURGAON

Through a global practice in sector specialisations, the team of consultants and researches are aligned to diverse Industry practices. In the Industrial practice, we have sub segments in Energy and clean tech, Engineering/machinery,Chemical/process industries, Automotive/transport, Mining.

The Senior Research Lead will leverage his/ her research experience of Industrial practice to support Practice Group development on a global scale and manage a team of analysts and senior analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive the KM agenda for his/her Practice Group (PG) in partnership with the Global Knowledge Manager.

- Develop specialist knowledge and insights into the trends, strategies and characteristics of the sector and its leaders.

- Prepare project-specific sector analysis focusing on human capital topics.

- Network and build relationships with colleagues within the Practice globally; and synthesise the learnings.

- Contribute to the Firm's knowledge management activities by looking for opportunities to build and share expertise, and develop best practices.

- Builds relationships within his/her PG and takes steps to enhance working relationship, visibility and credibility within the boarder PG and beyond the Global Knowledge Manager.

- Communication with clients on projects and collecting feedback.

- Career progression for team members; manage a team of 2 Research Analysts and 2 Senior Research Analysts.

- Regular manager and team meetings on updates within the PG e.g. best practices for the month

- Interaction and coordination with other Service lines (DQ, DC, Visual Solutions and TC) for collaboration on projects

- Measure and reporting on Quality for his/her team members.

- Reporting and MIS

Best-Suited Professionals:

- 3 years of relevant research/ consulting and KM experience in Energy and clean tech, Engineering/machinery, Chemical/process industries, Automotive/transport, Mining)

- Proven track record of managing a team (minimum of 4 members)

- Experience of working on international engagements in a professional services environment.

- Experience of using large scale, complex databases.
