Sr Regional Manager - Marketplace Customer & Seller Experience - eCommerce (5-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr Regional manager for Marketplace Customer and Seller Experience, you would be responsible for:

- Driving the experience for both the marketplace customer facing website and seller facing tools across the existing markets (UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait) and new markets that we launch in. This job gives you a unique opportunity to influence eCommerce experience in one of the hottest internet economies in the world.

- Creating and driving Marketplace product roadmap and requirements for both souq.com customer website and seller facing tools.

- Drive product and engineering teams based out of Jordan and Bangalore to ensure timely releases.

- Lead seller and user experience tests.

- Helping scale engineering teams for fast business growth.

This is an individual contributor role at start but may require managing a team of country specific analysts in future.

- The role will require travel to Amman, capital of Jordan (its really safe for those who don’t know) and Bangalore. May also require occasional travel to Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of product management experience in consumer technology or internet firms. 5+ years of overall experience.

- 2+ years of experience as a developer and managing developer teams.

- Experience in designing and delivering highly user friendly consumer tech products.

- MBA and engineering degree from top-tier schools (Can be substituted by relevant experience).

- Ex-entrepreneurial and startup product management experience highly valued.
