Sr Mgr - Production Procurement Indirects and Capital Buying

JOB PURPOSE/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The development, management and implementation of delivery strategies in alignment with sites and Facilities Sourcing teams to deliver agreed savings targets and other benefits that significantly impact financial results.

- Responsible for supply of Capital Equipment (preferably required in Pharma Industry), indirect materials (Engineering spares, Lab equipment etc) and services (Engineering services like Civil, Electrical Maintenance, Laundry, Canteen etc).

- Develop Contracts for acquisition of Capital Equipment and services.

- Import of Capital Equipment.

- Develop supply strategies to provide assurance of supply, quality, regulatory, service, cost and inovation.

- Lead relationships with critical suppliers providing secure and cost effective sources for relevant commodities.

- Lead cross functional sourcing group management teams with joint accountability for technical and quality performance (P-Tech).

- Implement initiatives and programs to improve quality of bought-in goods and services and reduce lead times.

- Ensure security of supply and risk management.

- Develop operational excellence strategy for supply base employing lean and sigma approach including PUCC and DFM.

- Deliver excellence in customer service.

- Ensure regulatory compliance.

- Provide best in class cost

- Coach and mentor to maximise team and individual performance
