Sr Mgr/Mgr - Real Estate Research - PE Firm

LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH 6+YRS OF IN REAL ESTATE RESEARCH OF INDIAN MARKET.

Position: Manager/ Sr. Manager – Real Estate Research

Reporting Manager: Director, Business Development, Wholesale Lending

Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities:

- Regular tracking of key real estate asset classes : Residential, Commercial, Retail, Hospitality in markets of interest namely – Mumbai, NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata.

- Understanding of key participants in the RE financing space and tracking of all investments made in the RE sector.

- Development of Quarterly & Monthly reports focusing on demand, supply, absorption & key events in the RE sector.

- Development of content for monthly contributions to a property magazine owned by a Group Company.

- Tracking & Coverage of various property exhibitions and preparation of reports outlining the findings.

- Contribute in investment analysis for all debt funding proposals evaluated by the Company.

- Development, updation and management of developer databases, mailing lists.

- Development of databases for real estate data sourced and managed by the Company &

- Participate in various Real Estate fora, gather and disseminate learning thereon with other teams within the Company

Data & Vendor Management:

- Identification of data requirements for report preparation

- Identification, short listing & tie-ups with vendors (initiation & renewals)

- Regular tracking of vendors in the market from whom data can be sourced, assessment of quality of data and coverage &subscription management

- Operationalization: Finalization with F&A, Execution of Vendor Agreements, Payments

Key Outputs / Deliverables -

- Timely & Quality delivery of Reports

- Database Management : Through Primary and Secondary research

- Content development: For internal audiences / teams and for publishing

Experience &Qualifications:

- Experience: 7+ years of relevant Experience in research / advisory in real estate industry

- Masters degree in finance (MBA) or a professional qualification (CA) mandatory

Requirements & Skills:

- Excellent understanding of the financial markets and good financial modelling skills

- Proven ability to deliver high quality outputs under stringent timelines

- Willingness to travel extensively

- Excellent communication & report writing skill.
