Role:  - Responsible for understanding competitor space by collecting field data and published data, compiling the data, undergoing digestive analysis of the data collected, communication to the CSO and analysis for strategy formulation.  Education Qualification:  - Any Graduate with an MBA from a premier B school with minimum experience of minimum 5 yrs. in Strategy consulting, Investment banking analyst, Market Research, Industry Analysis, Operations Analysis, Financial Analysis etc.  Skills set & Core Competencies:  - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills  - Excellent Interpretation skills  - Data extraction skills through trade associations, market research firms, reverse engineering, security analysis etc.  - Ability to scan environment for competitor markets  - Good knowledge of service product and benchmarking  - Ground work on Comparative Analysis of firms (B2B), Financial Analysis / Operational Analysis / Market Analysis  - Understanding the SWOT analysis, Porters Five force of competitors in market.  Key Deliverable:  - Compiling data about competitor’s key events, profile counts per month etc. from various field and published sources.  - Analyse the current Strategy and future goals of the company; assumptions held by the competitor about itself and about the industry  - Key Organisational Benchmarks  - Key next year goals  - Sales  - Profits  - Advertisement Expenses  - Assets & Liabilities  - Measure and analyse the most likely moves or strategy shifts the competitors may take.  - Cataloguing the data: abstracting the sources, library of analysed information, computer cataloguing.  - Digestive Analysis: ranking data by reliability of resource, summaries of data, competitor’s reports, relative competitor analysis, estimation of competitor’s cost curves and relative costs  - Communication to CSO: Regular compilation of data clippings, in depth updated reports on competitors.
