Title: Managing Consultant- Industrial Products/ Consumer Goods

Reports to Associate Director

Handles a team

Specializations- Industrial Products/ Consumer Goods- Consulting

Functions:

- Develop, maintain and establish business relations with CEOs and CxOs

- Identifying client issues, in proposing strategic solutions to the client, developing proposals and in delivering consulting engagements

- Play an active role in selected industry verticals that the Strategy sub-SBU is aligned to

- Work with the international network in market entry and cross border work with the global network

- Manage and coach the team to take the performance to the next level

- Help with practice management, knowledge development and thought leadership for the practice

Behavioural Competencies:

- Ability to work closely with client and top management teams of clients

- Leadership in motivating the team to grow rapidly over the next 2 years

- Gravitas and ability to connect with senior clients in the CxO suite

- Excellent communication & influencing skills

- Strategist

- Give direction to the team

- Target oriented

- Good networks in the CxO community, or an aspiration to have these

Experience:

- 8-10 yrs work exp, MBA Premier institute (IIM /ISB)

- Should have worked with a Strategy Consulting firm within India or internationally or with another big 4 consulting firm with a Strategic background.

- Should be interested in growing the practice, and having capability and poise to rise quickly a Partner position within the firm. Should be able to bring over some relationships and industry market knowledge.
