Sr Mgr - BD - Consulting/Research - APAC (8-12 yrs)
Senior Manager — Business Development (APAC Region)
- This a full-time role with one of our esteemed client, a global player within the strategic consulting domain, based out of their Indian HQs at Bangalore. Role would be focussed towards the APAC region with periodic travel.
Scope / Objective:
- The position reports into the Director-Business Development (APAC) and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall growth of the company. This position requires the candidate to take a leadership role in the regional business development (Bangalore) by demonstrating the following.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong Background of Consultative Selling (Large Accounts)
- Achieving a stated business target in the region
- Opening new client accounts for the firm in the region
- Forging strong client relationships
- Making cold calls and generating new client database
- Playing the role of a Client custodian across projects in the region
- Growing the business YoY with new accounts
- Coordinate with the delivery team to ensure project quality and timelines
- Ensure client satisfaction across areas
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
Education / Experience / Skills Requirement
- The candidate should be a solution-oriented individual who flourishes in a challenging and fast paced
environment with clients who require actionable, direct, and comprehensive answers to complex
questions.
Prospective candidates will have a College Degree / BE with MBA in Marketing; have relevant business
experience, and demonstrate the following:
- At least eight years' experience in selling market research, B2B and Consulting services
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to details and ability to manage responsibilities with minimum direction
- Strong track record in client management and achieving business targets
