Senior Manager –Analytics Resources

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

- Building new skills in the team and developing people capabilities in Resources Analytics

- Generating new analytics projects in ‘Resources’ industry group

- Managing project delivery of ‘Resources’ analytics projects.

Profile & Prior Experience

- 12-15 yrs experience ; 8-10+ years of hands on predictive Analytics using structured and unstructured data to solve business problems for ‘ Resources’ industry group (Energy, Utilities, CNR)

- 7+ years of leadership experience in leading and building large analytics centers of excellence comprising of senior analytics consultants and data scientists.

- Deep knowledge and experience in at-least one of the industry groups – energy, utilities or CNR.

- Any prior experience with a blue-chip global management consulting firm in the relevant field will be a plus

- Strong experience in consultative selling and large scale analytics project delivery is a must. Strong executive presence and inspirational leadership qualities is a must

- Good understanding and knowledge of statistical tools (SAS or R), analytical methods and BI tools is important.

- Direct exposure to working with global clients, preferably should have done 3-4+ yr of stint outside India – H1/Green Card would be a plus

- Publications in leading journals, patents on analytics techniques etc will be a strong plus

- Willing to travel – location

Preferred Educational Background

- Post Grad in Management (Marketing/ finance/SCM), economics, statistics preferably from a leading university or tier 1 Indian management school.

- Companies preferred– Consulting / Analytics firms.
