Job Profile -   - Identify external regulatory changes and potential opportunities. Translate these changes by negotiating with, lobbying and networking within Trade associations, Regional and National Regulatory authorities as appropriate. Design new and revised processes and exception procedures and implement these changes and improvements. Provide an advisory role to external and internal customers.  Minimum requirements, Skills and Knowledge:  - Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to understand communications and determine the key points and requirements.  - Fluent in the local language/s  - Good presentation skills, with the ability to gain commitment from employee groups.  - Experience in a large company with a good understanding of the industry, business, its goals and key processes.  - Basic understanding of the macro business environment, with the commercial awareness to determine the impact of changes on a business, its profitability and customer base  - Basic understanding of key financial principles and processes, including financial controls and budgeting.  - Good process management skills, with experience of using established processes and best practice methods to consistently achieve results and required timelines   - Good p.c. skills including effective keyboard skills and the ability to navigate systems and use software  - Good understanding of the Express Industry, operations, air and trucking line-haul and related processes, regulations and practices  - Studying for or holding a degree or professional qualification in a business related discipline  - Accomplished Managers’ need to demonstrate a higher level of skills, knowledge and behavioural competence linked to relevant experience gained over a period of time.   - Experience of effectively managing people processes whilst respecting and promoting organization values and culture  - Experience of recommending, developing and implementing process improvements and solutions  - Basic project management skills, with experience of managing an expansion or process improvement across multiple work areas/functions.  - Experience of evaluating and presenting operational data to support process management, proposals for change and decision making  - Experience of interpreting and applying complex regulations e.g. employment issues, Health & Safety, external transport regulations etc
