Sr Manager - Product Development - IIT/NIT/BITS (6-12 yrs)
Basic Requirement:
The individual will work closely with key business functions and shall be responsible for technical solution design, build/integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of end-to-end solutions for mobile, analytics, web development, content & information services, self-service support tools, search, social media and cloud-based digitally managed platforms .The individual will be responsible for developing and deploying the solutions.
Job Description:
- Providing architecture and technology leadership across a range of digital technologies such as Mobile/Web frameworks, Portals, Web Content Management and Collaboration platforms.
- Working with the developers, business analysts and subject matter experts to understand the complex technological system to produce integrated end-to-end solution options.
- Communicating the solution approaches to project teams and architecture review board and other stakeholders. Promoting architecture and design discussions, focusing on improving code quality and thinking.
- Developing and recommending novel and innovative - yet proven and demonstrated - approaches to reaching business and technical goals. Experimenting with new technologies for improving processes.
- Keeping up-to-date on new technology, standards, protocols and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment
- Making long term plans of tech rollouts.
- Ensuring quality of product and its delivery.
- Managing and scaling the product and supporting services.
- Mentoring and scaling the team.
- Tech write-ups on innovations from the team.
QUALIFICATIONS: Premier institute B.Tech [IITs/NIT/BITS]/ Post Graduate from a premium institute.
EXPERIENCE: 4-10 years- experience.6 months experience in development of a big product is preferred.
SKILLS:
- Exposure to product cycle - from start to scaling up and re-architectures.
- Good understanding of large scale web systems with large databases, multiple services and real-time processes.
- Managed a team of developers with defined workflows.
- Very strong coding skills and understanding best practices.
- Networking skills will eventually dominate more than coding eventually.
