Position: Senior Manager – Presales

Salary: Up to 18 Lacs (Salary will not be a constraint for the Right Candidate)

Location: Mumbai

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Business Strategy:

Business Strategy for Products & Solutions across verticals including:

1. Creating a strategic road map and setting goals & milestones

2. Analysis and forecasts of emerging technologies and business opportunities Strategic tie-up with system integrators/business partners to support offerings and establish practices for services/solutions.

3. Strategy blue-prints for ROI/market share growth, operational efficiencies and resource optimization

4. Strong understanding of business goals and ability to create an IT strategy to meet those goals

Solutioning:

1. Ideation, Conceptualization of business opportunities that lead to new lines of revenue generation

2. Consultative solutioning, Deal Structuring and Strategic Consulting

3. Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning for appropriate products and solutions.

4. Strategic pricing in competitive markets.

5. Identifying new markets in terms of products, need based segments, demographic profiles.

6. Enabling strategic associations with SI / Consultants.

Financial Management:

1. Continuous prudent management of the resources within the approved budget guidelines.

2. Establishing financial strategies pertaining to – Profitability, Recoveries and optimal Cost Management for the assigned business verticals.

Relationship Management:

1. Seeks and builds healthy relationships with key account’s decision-making teams and periodically interface them with key stakeholders.

2. Work closely with regional sales or commercial team to provide specific input to the customer.

Competition

1. Responsible for creating a compelling value proposition across industries

2. Competition Analysis by keeping abreast of Market Trends & achieving market share metrics.

People Management:

1. Work with cross-functional teams for new business opportunities.

2. Good understanding of the industry and consistently keeping abreast with latest market trends.

3. Enable the sales team through knowledge sharing on Domain, Technology and Customer Centric solutions.

4. Setting expectations, reviews, mentoring/coaching, deciding rewards, recognition, bonus and promotions.

5. Monitor the performance, driving optimum utilization, people and business strategies.

6. Provide technical and functional leadership, drive innovation and deliver highly critical projects

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

1. Engineering or MBA Graduate having 10-15 years of experience in business and technology consulting, Presales, SI/ Customer / Partner relationship & strategic tie-ups, marketing.

2. Track record of driving large complex solution engagements.

3. Should be an expert in handling a diverse range of software products, solutions and concepts relevant to diverse industries. Experience in providing software solutions in BFSI vertical is a must.

4. Strong strategic capability with ability to manage strategic and operational goals.

5. Strong financial / business acumen.

6. Experience in managing performance of individuals and teams across locations.

7. Leading the pre-sales teams to win multiple key accounts and engagements

8. Experience in Client Engagement, Consulting Program management and Solution Architecture.

9. Proficiency in analyzing the customer’s business, applications and converting the business needs into viable technical solutions.

10. Expertise in designing & implementing training programs for bringing keen customer focus, high energy level, team spirit and knowledge dissemination among employees.

11. Excellent written, communication, inter personal, liaison and problem solving skills with the ability to work in multicultural environment.
