Sr Manager - MPLS - Telecom

Summary:

Challenging opportunity to be part of the leading telecommunications company for a Sr.Manager in MPLS space. As a Practice Lead for MPLS group, responsible for design, presales and solutioning for network services within the domain

Responsibilities:

- Identify the practice areas in IP MPLS to serve global Telcos/ MNOs

- Support in developing resources to address RFPs in IP, IPv6, Data and Transmission Technologies domain

- Lead the development, approval, training, and communication of new products/product changes and their associated customer, operational, system & process impacts the various internal organizations.

- Understanding of client telecom network and identify the areas for improvement.

- Participate in seminars and preparation of white papers.

- Provide pre sales Technical support to Sales Team.

- Preparation of presentation material

- Identify opportunities to improve the products/solutions

- Working closely with customers, account managers ,bid management and business solution .

- Provide design and architectural recommendations for network services within their domains.

Key Skills:

- 13+ years of experience in telecom domain and at least 5 years of experience in IP, MPLS Core and Access, DSLAM’s, FTTx, ATM and Transmission Technologies domain

- Experience with network service outsourcing providers would be advantage

- Experience of IP / MPLS operation and Internet and VPN customers, diagnosis and trouble ticket closure, resolving network operation and performance issues

- Experience on Transmission products Huawei, ECI, Tejas, Infinera , Ciena
