About our Client:

Our Client is a leader in the online and mobile classifieds space. Backed by a strong portfolio of capital investors, they have aggressive growth plans for India and want to become market leaders within the service portfolio they cater to. They are looking for a Sr. Manager in Mumbai to manage HR Operations and Compliance for them at a national level.

Job Description:

Reporting into the Head HR and managing a team, your responsibilities will include:

- Heading HR Operations and Statutory & Labor Law Compliance.

- Manage all submission to the labour authorities for PF, Gratuity, Payment of Bonus

- Lead engagement with Business and with employees on all Employee Relation matters

- Understanding of design of Compensation Framework for both Regular and Workmen Category

- Create dashboards for hiring trends, attrition analysis, workforce analytics such as rewards, performance and wage data

- Good understanding of Employee Engagement practices

- Develop and Manage Employee Code Of conduct

- Manage vendors such as Labor consultants

- Manage employee grievance handling mechanism

- Develop and Manage Disciplinary action

- Manage the Payroll inputs for full time and contractual staff (payroll has been outsourced to a 3rd party)

- Employee separation & exit process

- Proficient with multiple HRIS tools

The Successful Candidate:

- You will come with 8-14 years of experience in HR Operations and Compliance managing both contractual and full time employees (Contract labor, Shops and Establishment, Minimum Wages, Sexual harassment) within any service sector. Preference is for candidates from Internet / eCommerce.

- Excellent experience in Statutory & Labor Law Compliance is essential for this role.
