1. Role

The SM will help build the H&PS practice with 20+ people focusing on the state of Tamil Nadu (TN) and other Southern States in India, across Skill development, Public Health, Employment etc.

The SM will help H&PS meet its FY14 Recoverability targets by generating Demand from clients such as State of TN

The SM will develop relationships with key stakeholders such as:

1. State of TN Secretaries and other government officials to generate direct sales,

2. Industry and Offering Leads globally to generate demand and meet recoverability targets

e. The SM will help our client teams in proposals and business development activities and enabling them to increase their revenues and sales

f. The SM will report to the H&PS Lead and will be responsible for managing 2 to 3 Mangers and 4 to 5 consultants directly

2. Skills and experience

a. The Right candidate must have an MBA from a Tier 1 MBA institute and or a comparable Masters in Public Administration

b. The Right candidate must have a very good understanding of at-least 4 of the following capabilities

1. Tax and Customs

2. Public Health

3. Employment and Skill enhancement

4. e government

5. Digital Government

6. Social welfare such as child safety and security,

7. Police or Public safety

c. The Right candidate must have a very good exposure to the state of TN government departments and ministries, and or other South Indian states (2nd option)

d. The right candidate must understand government contracting & tendering processes and procurement

e. The right candidate must have worked with 2 to 3 clients in the state of TN

f. The Right candidate must have at least 12 years of exposure to consulting and Public Services

g. The Right candidate must have excellent communication and presentation skills

h. The Right candidate must speak Tamil, in addition to English and must be willing to locate in Chennai
