Job opportunity with the leading eCommerce in Bangalore.  Role: Senior Manager - Business Control & Metrics  (Retail Process & Excellence |Bangalore, India)  - The Retail Process and Excellence team’s mandate is to integrate & mature the Retail functions across all Categories with standardized processes and to promote compliance & operational synergy by cross-functional program management.  We are looking for a Senior Manager - Business Control & Metrics to be hosted out of the retail business unit who is expected to design, deploy and own business controls, metrics and reporting across several retail categories.   - This person will be conversant with industry best practices in controls in the e-commerce space.   As a business control and metrics manager you will champion metrics and controls within the organization and will be at the heart of a retail change management initiative. You will:  - Align/support Controllership in the organization  - Champion Information security & data protection (Ex: policies around competing suppliers)  - Define Business Controls (Ex: Reconciliation points and hand-off points in Warehouse)  - Define regulatory and compliance standards (SOX compliance),   - Create separation of Duty to avoid conflict of interest   - Influence Access Controls for IT product development  - Keep track of Performance against Retail Process Metrics/KPIs  - Report on metrics and team performance  - Ensure regulatory & Risk Compliance across categories  - Set Controls Points in the Buy, Sell and Returns areas  - Test for hand-offs and interlock between process leads  - Conduct Internal audits and ensure we are always audit ready  - Perform benchmarking studies  As a controls and metrics manager, you will work cross functionally with various teams. You will be expected to:   - Work across categories to ensure standardization  - Support cross-category level initiatives/impacts  - Keep an end-to-end perspective in solutions  - Integrate functioning within Retail  - Provide an outside-in perspective  - Ensure the management of change  Must have the following qualifications and capabilities:  - 8-10 yr experience in business controls, Ops audit, SOX, Metrics, Reporting from the Retail/CPG/ e-commerce industries  - Graduate degree in engineering, preferably an MBA from a premier B School  - Advanced MS Excel - ability to correlate data, data analysis, metrics  - Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards - hands on experience in at least one framework desired
