Sr Manager - Banking Analytics - SME

SME for Banking Analytics engagements is expected to bring strong Project Management capability, with domain expertise in BFSI analytics. This role involves analyzing business problems, facilitate / create statistical models, adherence to delivery timelines, creation and delivery of presentations/documents/reports to stakeholders. This person is expected to lead teams comprising of Data Miners, Data Analyst, Business Analyst and manage and mentor others in advanced analytics and coordinate project tasks with other teams and manage offshore / onshore execution.

Essential skills

- Experience with the Marketing team of a Retail Bank is a must

- Strong project management skills required

- Experience in creating resource plan, project plans, project schedule and status reports required

- Logical ability to visualize and leverage data to predict business outcomes and help in decision making

- Solid background in Data Mining and Business Intelligence with experience in Banking domain.

- Experience in statistical and data analysis in one or more of the following areas is essential:

- Data analytics with familiarity in quantitative techniques like logistic regression, decision trees, linear regression, segmentation etc.

- Text Analytics

- Scorecard building

- Identifying and defining KPIs to track results, performance of operations, campaigns etc.

- Campaign management

- Hands-on experience in data handling and statistical tools like SQL, SPSS, SAS etc.
