Sr Manager/Associate Director - Infrastructure Transaction Origination/Structuring (7-10 yrs)
Sr. Manager/Associate Director-Infrastructure Transaction Origination/Structuring
Objective:
- To source and originate workable projects to finance in the infrastructure sector - Roads / Renewable energy / Ports / Power (small hydel) projects
- To identify and size opportunities across sectors
- To source and originate workable projects to buy / sell / M & A across sectors
Accountabilities :
Work closely with the Head infrastructure will be responsible for:
Building up the Origination desk :
- Ensure effective funneling of business for Execution/ Transaction team to execute.
- To identify and build a long term data base of projects and clients that would be tapped into for building a fund raising stream of business.
- Identify potential growth areas and businesses / sectors that organization can evaluate for entry.
Business Development :
- Relationship management with corporate / Bankers / HNI and major private sector entrepreneurs.
- New clients with a focus on Indian Corporate and infrastructure companies
Sector Expertise :
- To build expertise in chosen sectors through Knowledge building and capacity building in commensurate with business potential.
Operations :
- Implementation and management of the business development system and delivery process
- Create best practice tools, policies and processes for the business function
Knowledge/Experience :
The person should have the exposure to some of the following :
- Understanding of the sector
- Understanding viability of the projects
- Basic understanding of the quality of the project
- Basic assessment and evaluation of the client credentials and bank ability
- Preparing IM and basic modelling
- Have a successful track record of sourcing transactions in this space,
- Structuring of debt and equity
- Distribution of debt and equity to bankers HNI, funds, mf and other lenders and investors
- The person should have exposure of working in Delhi / Bombay / or globally across these sectors
He should have adequate hands on experience in the sector and should have manage key relationships and networks of these accounts in India and / or abroad
