About our Client: Our client is one the leading retail banks in the world. They have operations in more than 45 countries and a consolidated revenue running into trillions of dollars. Their brands operates around the globe to provide banking services for individuals, businesses and institutions. As a part of their constant innovations and strategic initiatives, they require seasoned and bright professionals to join their Business analytics division.

Job Description: Reporting to the director and handling a team of five to seven, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

- Lead the design, development and deployment of best practice analytics including insight, predictive models, segmentation and triggers.

- Interact with the global business leaders of the bank and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems through statistical methods.

- Application of very strong data analytics to address problems of their various line of businesses.

- Direct team members on more complex data extraction, analysis or project requirements for data files that are not supported via existing tools.

- Generate analytics and insights in RAMP (SAS Environment)

- Provide workflow management, daily/weekly project reporting, including, but not limited to real time project status, capacity usage, capacity projections, etc.

The Successful Candidate:

You need to have:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Reporting & Analysis preferred

- Degree in engineering, mathematics, operations research, economics or equivalent

- People Management experience of 2+ years

- Strong reporting background and high proficiency in SAS, SQL, experience with Merge/Purge process and tools

- Advanced level SAS and SQL (create stored Procs / macros)

- Produce analytic reports (i.e. frequencies, attributes, responder vs. non-responders)

- Data Extraction. Understanding data models, database design/schema & AMEX data warehouse

- Data Manipulation & Synthesis using SAS stored procs, SQL & SAS EG

- Interface/Reports- Excel, Import datasets into Excel & generate custom charts, graphs, reports in Excel. Excel reporting using Pivot Charts/Graphs

- Data Cleansing, Sorting, Embed/update excel reports via dynamic links, System Processes- Data Processes, Automation

- Understand & execute monthly/weekly data/analytic processes, to be able to debug issues

- Strong quantitative skills combined with ability to synthesize product concepts and ideas
