Job Summary

The Senior Consultant performs and supervises assignments involving concepts of Supply Chain

Strategy, Optimization of Logistical Systems, and Infrastructure planning. The successful

Candidate will lead the preparation and presentation of proposals, gather and analyze facts, develop recommendations, and prepare and present reports. The position will have direct supervision over analysts and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and Manage Strategy and Execution of Supply Chain Management and Logistics assignments in areas such as

- Supply Chain Optimization

- Supply Chain Strategy

- Infrastructure Feasibility Studies (Brown Field /Green Field)

- Facility Layout and Engineering (Logistics Parks, DC’s, Cold Chain, FTWZ)

- Transport Network Design , Planning and Management

- Logistics Optimization

- Supply Chain Benchmarking

- Factory and Logistics Automation

- Distribution Network Modeling

- Integrated Material Handling Solution and Re-Engineering

- Green Supply Chain and Logistics

- Participate in the proposing and selling of Management Consulting Services

- Mentoring Junior Staff, a hands on and down to earth Team Leader

- Contribute to setting the Strategy and Business Plan of the firm

- Responsible for achieving Business Targets in business acquisition and delivery

Education Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (IIT,IT-BHU,DCE,BITS & Tier 1 Engineering Colleges only)

- MBA Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics / Engineering (preferred)

- Any relevant industry specific Certifications/Memberships (desirable)
