Sr Channel Sales Manager-Advance Applications for Indirect Sales

Work Location: Mumbai/Bangalore

Education: Degree in Engineering or related Engineering discipline/ MBA OPTIONAL

Experience: 8-12 Years

Job Scope:

The function is dedicated to sell our Wonderware range of products to the industrial customers. The position is responsible of achieving sales quota assigned for advanced applications business INDIA by closely working with CHANNEL PARTNERS who are external to our company and treat them as extension of our sales and support to wind new deals and help them to the business this also includes internally coordinating with marketing manager, proposal team and technical consultants. The position is required to maximize revenue and margins by developing business opportunities from existing and new customers and delivering value proposition to target customers to help customers to achieve their business performance objectives.

Requirements:

- Min 10 years of relevant Advance applications sales working experience

- High level of sales skills and experience in all/any of the following:

- Channel management

- MES

- HMI and related

- Operation Intelligence System

- Performance Management System

- Asset Management System

- Mobility

- BPM

- Intelligence

Competencies:

STRONG CHANNEL EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.

- Solution architect to analyze customer’s business concerns/issues and offer value to customer.

- Develop/pursue sales lead/pipeline via professional/personal connections, client’s visit and solution campaign.

- Develop strong relationship and trust with customers to understand customers’ pains/requirements and to leverage the wealth of overall expertise to satisfy customers’ needs.

- Understand competitors, their strategies and counter-tactics.

- Understand how to develop strategic account plan and execute sales initiatives working with technical consultants.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for advanced application sales to designated in the wonderware and assigned range of products.

- Maintain strong sales pipeline from the designated accounts through creating sales opportunities for advanced applications:

- Develop and drive mid & long term business strategies and marketing plan for designated accounts.

- Build strategic customer/ partner relationships to achieve sales strategies and objectives.

- Lead sales pursuit by developing winning strategy, mobilizing pursuit team from various resourcing group and negotiating with customer up to closing opportunity and help partners close the business.

- Provide timely sales data, reports and analysis as directed.
