ROLE PROFILE

Job Title - Senior Brand Manager / Brand Manager

Reports To - Marketing Manager

Context/Scope - This is a critical position which manages one of the leading premium/ luxury brands for the company. It is accountable for driving the growth for not just the brand but it also impacts the growth of the company. It requires strategic brand management & also strong business acumen to drive performance.

Purpose of Role Manage the performance and strategy of the brand including innovation, through development and flawless implementation of the brand plans and ruthless focus on the Key Growth drivers.

Market Complexity:

Liquor industry operates in a regulated & complex retail environ. Liquor falls under state jurisdiction & each state operates its own Excise policy. This impacts the route-to-market (RTM), consumer pricing, Retail construct and also the promotional plans.

Advertising & Promotions in Liquor Industry is also regulated for both ATL campaigns & BTL activations. But there are defined norms & processes which allow brands to conduct promotions & communicate and engage with consumers on the ground and digital world

Leadership Possibilities:

This position is responsible for leading the strategic thinking on the brand, developing theme campaigns, designing & executing the engagement platform. It involves partnering with Global Brand teams for the development of brand growth drivers. This role demands providing leadership to the internal teams to successfully deliver the outcomes. It will involve cross-functional expertise & the ability to positively challenge the system to deliver more. A key point would be creating the belief with proven growth drivers in the system.

Top 3-5 Responsibilities

1. Lead all marketing programs that contribute to the delivery of AOP and strategic long term vision for the brand including Innovation. Managing the brand’s Profit & Loss and brand health key performance indicators to deliver brand objectives

2. Executing all ATL & BTL marketing programs and ensure brilliant execution that will grow the brand in line with the business expectations for the short and long term

3. Improve efficiency of marketing programs by measuring & evaluating all activities and drawing concrete learning’s.

4. Inspire and excite a team of cross functional team of peers, senior stakeholders to deliver the vision and individual goals for every marketing program

5. Partner with and foster greatness & brilliance from multiple agency partners

Qualifications and Experience Required - Graduate, full time MBA , 6 years + work experience, Advertising / Product Management background preferred.

2-3 years of Sales experience will be an added advantage.
