Sr Auditor (3-6 yrs)
Job Description:
- Sr. Auditor is primarily focused on Basel, capital, and risk management activities and related controls throughout the Corporation.
- Audit Leader may lead audit project teams, which includes scoping, executing, providing oversight to the audit team, and communicating results of the engagement to management.
- Audit Leader provides technical expertise and training to auditors within the engagement’s audit team.
- Working closely with Audit Project Managers and Audit Managers, Audit Leader confirms the scope of the audit and to devise and deploy an appropriate testing approach during the engagement.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of audit procedures and standards usually obtained through related work experience.
- Preferred knowledge of risk management, Basel rules, capital planning, and auditing techniques.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, work independently, draw meaningful conclusions and develop recommendations.
Experience:
- Generally 2-4 years of auditing experience in a financial institution or in a public auditing/consulting firm, in conjunction with relevant risk management experience.
- Four year degree program is preferred. Master’s degree in business related field or equivalent degree is preferred.
- Previous financial services experience preferred. FRM, PRM, and/or CIA certification preferred.
