Job Title: Senior Associate-Fixed Income Research

Qualification :MBA from a Tier 1/Tier 2 B School or CFA charter / pursuing CFA is a plus

Location : Bangalore

Description

- 2-5+ years related experience in fixed income / economics research

- Must have experience in Fixed Income Research.

Responsibility

- Analyze macroeconomic themes, rates strategy and impact on bonds with different tenors, credit spreads, issuers – Govt, corporate, Munis

- Performance analysis and attribution of funds in the peer group, listening to calls

- Analyzing investment peer groups to generate new fund ideas through screening, analysis, collaboration and fund reports

- Aggregating relevant information for presentation through Excel or other front end tools

- Supporting Fund Analysts with ad hoc analysis on specific funds, fund complexes and other team-based projects

Skills Required

- Strong quantitative skills with work experience using analytical abilities

- Strong ability to think critically

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work independently on multiple projects

- Working knowledge of Excel/VB, macros, data management

- Strong skills in statistical methods

- Experience/strong interest in the mutual fund industry is a plus
