Below are the details of the same  Position Description: Senior Area Sales Manager  Job Title: Senior Area Sales Manager  Business: Sales/Traditional Trade  Location: Bengaluru  Salary: upto 24 Lakhs  Reports to: BSM - AP & Karnataka  Team Size: Direct Manpower: 5-6 SE /SSE  Indirect Manpower: 80-90  Job Responsibilities:  - Delivering volume and value sales target across multiple categories and RE’s and hence ensuring MS growths  - Delivering the direct Reach and Numeric Distribution expansion drive  - Maintaining the PoB leadership agenda by Leveraging Visi Cooler Deployment and appointing P7 stores  - Analysing territory workload and assigning resources to territory, ensuring that Cadbury is well represented in customer outlets  - Authorising and monitoring the customer contact schedule  - Generating different initiative scenarios, defining field action plan(s), setting and communicating field objectives and tracking results  - Orchestrating field activities, overseeing product placement, display and distribution, pricing and promotions activities  - Ensuring field force capability to deliver consumer objectives and achieve financial and strategic targets  - Evaluating field force performance with a view to making improvements or changes that will build capability, coaching individuals and teams, dealing with performance issues   - Building and maintaining effective customer relationships  The Ideal Candidate:  Technical / Functional skills:  - 6 Years of experience  - MBA batch 2011-2012, from a top business school  - Experience in Managing a large/complex area with prior experience in FMCG sales preferred.  - Experience of best in class execution of POS activationsincluding customer activations on the ground, new product launches and   - Understanding of Cost to Serve elements  - Understanding of Gross to Net management  Behavioral competencies:  - Negotiation and customer management skills  - Great interpersonal skill set with an ability to influence peers and cross functional colleagues  - Ability to lead and manage large team(s)  - Strong coaching ability  Key Performance Indicators:  Success in this role will be measured through a balance of qualitative and quantitative performance measures that are aligned to the strategic imperatives of the sales function.
