Senior Analyst / AM Pricing (FP&A) for an MNC BPO in Pune.

Job Description :

Develops and interprets complex pricing and spend analyses necessary to support business functions of contracting, auditing, pricing and client support. Compile, analyze, and summarize financial data in preparation for price negotiations on new share deals, contract renewals and migrations. Plan, administer and report on the price increase process. Challenges data and information integrity.

Recommend and apply controls of the region/business unit. Works as a business partner that provides decision support to business unit leader. Conducts special projects to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action. Develops models and provides input and feedback on Division/Group models to improve the ability to plan and control financial and business drivers.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. PRICE INCREASE: Develops financial plans for price increase, manage price increase process, prepare client notifications, report price increase results and interprets their relationship to corporate objectives and long-term planning. Partner with region to ensure that maximum results can be achieved to drive revenue for the organization. Provide in-depth analyses to assist in monthly close and forecasting of price increase.

2. CONTRACT AUDIT: Conduct audits of new and existing clients to ensure billing accuracy and contract compliance, conduct feature-level audits across multiple clients and regions; analytical and reasoning skills a must for this area. Ensure current contract language drives value for the organization by ensuring feasibility with the invoicing system and financial goals. This is an area of SOX compliance.

3. CLIENT ANALYSIS AND SUPPORT: Compiles and/or prepares accurate reports (i.e., billing variances, revenue breakdown, credit analysis, operating reports, etc.) and charts of data. Prepares reporting as needed by the business for proposed savings on concessions, annual spend reviews, etc. Performs quantitative analyses for various types of financial data needed in planning, budgeting and cost control.

Performs client level pricing analysis and provides recommendations on new/proposed pricing aimed at retaining a client at risk and/or securing new business.

The pricing analysis includes three primary areas:

1. Margin analysis,

2. Competitive analysis (knowledge of the competitive environment which could vary by geographic region),

3. Value drivers to the client.

Potential for Ad hoc reporting for both internal purposes and client-facing requests.

4 RENEWAL SUPPORT: Provide comprehensive pricing summary and client research necessary to support contract renewals. Partner internally with relationship managers, controllers, deal architects and contract business managers to facilitate the renewal process with a focus on improved cycle times. Generate contractual documents needed for renewal and coordinate across departments to facilitate the renewal process. The renewal process has the following areas of focus: client scoping, functional expertise, pricing analysis, business partnering, and reporting.

5. MIGRATION & UPGRADE SUPPORT: Provide comprehensive pricing summary and client research necessary to support clients through spinoffs, migrations and upgrades. Partner internally with sales associates, deal architects and contract business managers. Critical process steps include client scoping, paycount validation, rate standardizations, bundled pricing review and percent of book determination. Interpret analysis to guide sales and deal architects when positioning client product and pricing opportunities.

6. PRIVATE EQUITY SUPPORT Support sales efforts for growing new share and securing contracts for existing business. Build and administer a support model that positions quarterly reviews with Private Equity firms to leverage such partnership to grow market share and spend. The Private Equity support model also supports Finance by ensuring that client agreements are written within Finance guidelines. The PE Analyst will also support Financial Close and Forecast by generating accruals and providing a forecast. PE Support will also partner with the regions to share the impact to clients.

7. AD HOC Analysis - Conducts special financial studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of statistical studies. Develops and designs financial models (i.e., revenue analysis, financial planning and consolidation, project planning, forecasting models, etc.).

Desired Candidate Profile :

B.Com/ M.Com/ MBA / CA (Inter)- Commerce Graduates (In India Terms)

Experience in Pricing Analysis is mandatory. Good Analytical skills

Familiarity with Pricing Analysis, month end close, forecast and budget processes

Focus on accuracy and timeliness

Resilience, flexibility & ability to prioritize tasks and manage against deadlines.

Excellent Verbal & written Communication.

Should be willing to work in US shifts.
