About our Client - Our client is a complete financial services firm, that has evolved over the years from a boutique investment bank. They have built a strong presence across verticals in the equity capital markets, financing, asset management and now retail business. They also have the largest domestic HFT trading desk and are looking out for an algorithmic developer to join their proprietary trading team.
Job Description - Working on the trading floor and reporting into the Head of Quant Trading you will be responsible for:
- Developing and updating Algo trading platform:
- Will be responsible for implementing changes to existing platform and ensure the framework has minimal latency
- Implementing framework to code strategies on platform:
- Developing overall environment to make strategies development easier and faster
- Coding strategies on platform:
- Will be responsible for coding trader's strategies on platform
- Developing Algo trading strategies:
- Developing new high frequency trading strategies
The Successful Candidate - You will be a BE/BTech/MTech from a Premier institute with 5-7 years of core java coding experience. You must also have strong analytical and technical skills preferably having knowledge of PYTHON & C++. Background experience in finance is preferred.
