Spartek is a pioneer in ceramic tiles in India, revolutionized building products industry and created momentum in product and stock markets for a couple of decades as a brand leader in ceramic tiles and known for its product leadership and marketing since the mid 80's for almost 3 decades. The group now tied up several foreign strategic partnerships in current and related areas for projects worth over INR 250 crores. The current growth plans, through the brand strengths should take the turnover to over INR 500 crores within 3 years in first phase.   Our Group owns two leading brands in building/home interior product/construction sector, known for our product leadership, reputed for quality and nationwide distribution network for decades. The group is associated in several foreign (US & UK) strategic partnerships in current and related areas for various upcoming ventures.   The group is introducing a number of new products of high end brands and also initiating several new projects with overseas collaboration. During this conceptualization, initial implementation & monitoring stages, projects are directly consulted by the Chairman's office. We need a Project Manager to take ownership of these projects and implement the manufacturing plants and oversee all techno commercial aspects of project implementation and should later on be able to manage the operations.   Functions and Responsibilities  - Responsible for executing the Project & later run the factory as Plant in charge   - Interact with all statutory, Government & Quasi Government agencies for all commercial/technical requirements to effectively complete the project  - Coordinate with suppliers, foreign technical personnel, contractors etc.  - Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility  - Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs  - Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques  - Build, lead and direct project teams to meet project objectives  - Works with client departments to coordinate deliverable and content integration   - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.  Requirements & Expectations:   - Working knowledge of mechanical/electrical/civil, safety, man management and all aspects of project implementation,   - Experience in cement or any mineral based manufacturing and continuous process plants will be an added advantage.  - Engineering Graduate Preferably Mechanical/Ceramic/Civil.   - Minimum 10 years- experience in Project implementation and factory operations.  - Should be a team player with initiative & Leadership qualities.  - Working knowledge of I.T.   Other Details:  CTC: Compensation will commensurate with the role and the performance by a mix of base salary and performance linked compensation.  Location: Chennai, TN initial stages and later on at plant locations within A.P and Tamilnadu
