Job Description:
- Responsible for various indirect supplier processes and procurement activities, auditing, cycle counting, monthly financial reports and cost savings activities
- Sourcing activity for Indirect Material/ Machinery/ Tools/ Jigs/ Fixtures
- Negotiation on long term agreements with suppliers
- Assemble and analyze data for the purpose of determining behavior patterns to identify opportunities for cost improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key or high impact suppliers
- Lead and participate in cross-functional team
- Support Indirect Material Cost Improvement Programme
Mandatory:
- Must have experience in indirect materials procurement, scheduling system, inventory management and supplier management.
- Full Time B. Tech. in Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Industrial/ Electrical/ Plastics/ Instrumentation.
Desired Experience:
- Strong analytical skills. Capable of collecting and interpreting data to derive meaning, identify patterns of behavior and support policy recommendations
- Strong communication skills- must be able to share results through appropriate channels such as metrics, reports, surveys and monitoring tools with other functional areas in the organization
- Knowledge and application of supply management systems, processes and practices
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing industry, markets and competitors
- Commercial buying experience
- Cross-functional work experience(s) in multiple major areas such as: finance, Engineering, supply management, marketing, human resources, etc
