Souq is actively expanding both organically and thru M&A’s in the region.  Overall Purpose  Souq is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Fulfillment Center, FP&A team within Operations Finance. This role will have heavy impact and high visibility to essential, business-critical processes, and will require interactions with Directors and heads within Operations and Finance. The position will partner with stakeholders such as the Operations business team, engineering/analytics and Fulfillment Center Finance.   You will leverage your educational and applied work experience to lead initiatives to streamline planning/reporting, as well as identify investment and cost savings opportunities within the Fulfillment Center network.  Primary responsibilities –  1. Build financial analysis models driving operational decisions across the Souq FC network.  2. Designing the right KPIs and scorecards for the FC/Operations organization to capture the performance. encompassing all the functions and work with the analytics teams to automating and designing systems reports, wherever required.  3. Develop and maintain tools to drive standardization and automation with existing reports and improve accuracy of data and timeliness of reporting.  4. Evaluate and improve methodologies in the Operations finance function that are the core of our business models and tools.  5. Collaborate with operations personnel to drive process improvements and cost savings initiatives.  6. Drive and improve forecasting capabilities of the FCs – build a seamless info flow between Retail or FBS and FC. This should help FC improve their processes and flexibility to cope up with promotions and seasonality.  7. Identify issues and enhancements to processes, implementing change in conjunction with FC Finance teams  8. Manage the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly results reporting with the Operations finance teams.  9. Facilitate monthly Operations financial review meetings with key partner business groups and with management.  10. Cover for FP&A team and build upon AOPs, budgeting and initiatives during annual Budgeting exercise and conduct forecasting to provide outlook of the FC organization during Quarterly board review.   11. Network level capacity planning along with capital budgeting, planning and monitoring.  Essential Skills:  - Strong financial acumen including familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis  - Excellent communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management  - Excellent grasp of corporate finance fundamentals  - Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on various internal/external stakeholders  - Strong resourcefulness and ability to find or develop compelling data given limited resources and time Comfortable working with ambiguity  - Bachelor’s degree required; MBA-finance / ACCA essential.  - 5+ years of relevant work experience; including project management experience.  - 1+ years of experience in related experience that must involve performing financial and ad hoc analyses to senior management for strategic decision-making.  - Strong experience in Macro writing and/or VBA coding.
