Solution Manager - PeopleSoft & Avature - BFSI (10-12 yrs)

- Supports the designated HR organisation with capability to drive process solutions that are aligned to change principles, enhances employee experience and are timely.

- Works closely with data architecture, technology teams and other specialist operations units to ensure that the processes designed and delivered meets organizational and business objectives.

- Identifies and leads re-engineering initiatives to continuously drive organisation performance.

- As the custodian of HR process architecture in own area, defines and documents the set of strategic, core and support processes that includes all relevant stakeholders both within and outside the function and organisation. E.g. business, vendors and external systems.

- Captures the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide trace ability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.

- Works closely with the Change Control Board to assess the nature of changes, metrics, and quantify the cost and impact of the changes brought into production.

- Works with a team of HR solutions architects to embed change methodology and discipline within the HR function.

- Brings continuous improvement to the eco system inorder to plan the changes in sequential manner

- Well versed with HRMS system and its functionalities

- Must have excellent experience in the implementation of PeopleSoft 9.2 and people tools.

- Avature's Solution Architects must possess real world operating experience and a deep understanding of the configuration options available on the Avature platform.

- They must guide our customers with local and regional insights and assist in translating specific business challenges to Avature Solutions.

- Solution Architects remain engaged during implementation in a customer advisory role and provide high level account management post go-live that focuses on optimization and continuous improvement efforts.

- Write detailed solution specifications and UAT plans, perform solution configurations, set up integrations, perform data migration, and develop customized training programs. They must possess deep knowledge of the Avature platform and should be able to configure it with little or no support development teams, thereby significantly reducing configuration turn-around times.

- Build the data model and workflows on the sandbox

- Avature Consultants must utilize robust platform frameworks for reporting, sites, and mobile apps, to weave together sophisticated, branded, user experiences for job seekers and candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and other participants in a wide variety of programs without forcing you to compromise your vision and that's what makes an implementation successful.

- Avature consultants will project manage training, UAT, and deployment of the configured instance to production.

Qualifications and Skills :

- The successful candidate(s) must have one or more of the following:

- 10- 12 years of experience, preferably with a majority in PS and Avature systems implementation.

- Knowledge of Human Resources is highly desirable

- At least 5 years experience improving processes within PS and Avature systems

- Proven experience managing moderate to large scale projects in PS and Avature systems. PMP certification is a plus but not mandatory

- Demonstrated ability to break down complex business processes understanding the implications at both macro and micro levels

- Demonstrated leadership and team building skills with the ability to facilitate and motivate virtual, cross functional teams.

- Outstanding interpersonal communication capabilities and ability to build relationships with all levels of management

- Excellent facilitation and consulting skills

Team and People Management :

- Ensuring constructive, collaborative and collegial working relationships within the team and with other functional groups.

- Managing the junior architects / testers and assigning their roles and responsibilities across projects/ releases

Process and Compliance :

- Good understanding and ability to apply HR processes laid down within HR business, and/or standards as defined by project and SCB.

- Contribute in identifying and managing solutions/ improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency.

- Complying with the quality management practices and policies (defined by solutions team).

Customer and Service Focus :

- Highly responsive to customer and project needs, as well as managing customer expectations.

- Establish a close working rapport with the stream leads to understand underlying issues and risks in the change/ project.

- Ability to reverse engineer requirements and develop models as required supporting HR process automation.

Selection Criteria :

- Analytical, systematic in problem decomposition, evaluation and solution recommendation based on data analysis

- Ability to work across multiple disciplines, functions, levels in an organization

- Able to work independently, self-starter and fast learner; willingness to take ownership and responsibility

- Leadership qualities to be able to motivate, attract and retain talent within the team by defining tangible deliverables and help set the direction for the team.

- Good team player and able to work under pressure, handle multiple deliverables, tight timelines, and at times with intangible goals which may be difficult to measure / quantify

- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
