Solution Architect - Network Security - IT (10-16 yrs)
Client - one of the leading IT Co.s in India
Role - Solution Architect (Network Security)
Location - Chennai
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with pre-sales to validate the solution and estimation
- Work with delivery on estimation
- Come up with processes, templates, and tools to come up with estimation
Technical Expertise :
Network and Security
- Familiarity in LAN Routers/ LAN Switches/ Data Centre Switches
- Good design of LAN / WAN infrastructures with good understanding of QoS / IT Security / Network Management
- Possess product knowledge of Cisco Advanced Switching and Routing, Firewall Solutions, Checkpoint or equivalent product
Workplace :
- Service Desk and End user services like print and end points
- Unified communication - messaging and collaboration
- Mobility - Citrix, BYOD
SIAM :
- Service management tools and process
- Standards and industry practices
- Service operations
Database and middleware :
- Solution database like SQL, Oracle, and message oriented, object, RPC, DB and transaction middleware like WebSphere, Apache, JBoss
Platform :
- Compute (Server, OS, Hypervisor)
- Storage, backup, archive
- Cloud
- Expert in one of the five areas listed above
- Solutioning knowledge in other four
- Aware of industry benchmarks in infrastructure solutions
