Designation: Solution Architect

Experience: 7-12 years

Location: Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities

- Very Good exposure to MVC frameworks like: Struts 2.0, Spring 2.X, Hibernate 3.X, Java Script/ Ajax etc. Hands on experience in developing J2EE web application with very good knowledge of JSP, Serv let, and DAOs etc.

- Good in OOP with knowledge on UML, RUP, design patterns etc.

- Experience of relevant application tools and technologies, for example: a. Eclipse IDE b. DAO & JDBC, MySQL/ DB2 /Oracle c. JMS, Java Mail would be a plus d. Java thick client technologies like Swing, Apache Pivot

- Strong SDLC skills.

- Worked on at least 3-4 full lifecycle Java EE projects

- Imp roved Performance, Scalability, Availability, Reliability, and Security in Java EE projects

- Provided unit and integration test strategies for complex Java EE projects

- Taken design and architectural decisions that directly improved the quality of the delivered system

- Setup the build and development environment to maximize developer productivity

- Provided work breakdown and esti mates for complex Java EE modules that helped in better planning and tracking of the project

- Efficient with tools ranging from UNIX Scripts to full blown Java IDEs h) Articulated (orally and in writing) technical merits and demerits of a decision to the management team and/or customer representative

- Presented the solution in a easily comprehensible form

- Created models using stan dard notations (UML, ER, Archimate & DFD)

- Has been a mentor and coach for the team members 8-10 Continues to hone his/her programming skills - Java 6, J2EE EJB/ Struts/ Hibernate/ Spring/ JSF,DB2 ,Oracle,MySQL) JUnit & JMeter Eclipse.Design Patterns & Agile Scrum

Skills & Job Requirements

Experience on system design will be an added advantage. Past experience in consumer/retails/sales & portal projects would be a very big advantage. Nice to have knowledge on Reporting Tools like - Jasper Reports /Cognos Report /Actuate Report
