Solution Architect - COE - Public Safety Technology

- Establish and provide a remote demonstration facility that can be leveraged by our client and partners

- Develop demonstrations and tools that can be leveraged by our client & partners pre-sales resources tailored to customer requirements

- Provideremote proof of concepts (POCs) demonstrations and presentations based on customer's business, IT infrastructure, strategy in support of the our client public safety offering and go to market strategy.

- Understand the customers business, IT infrastructure, current technical issues, strategy, industry trends and opportunities.

- Architect state-of-the-art technical solutions to complex public safety, smart city and video surveillance systems requirements.

- Give formal presentations (remotely or onsite) to customers or prospects and contribute to proposals.

- Leverage and engage with internal teams including regional and global public safety team.

- Support the identification, engagement and enablement of new and existing OEM, GSI and ISV relationships and ecosystems to achieve growth and financial objectives.

- Support partner enablement activities through delivering training, pre-sales integration and demonstrations.

- Be able to host customer visits as required.

- Be able to effectively implement the architected solution if required.Participate in solution development, marketing, certification and opportunities where appropriate.

- Maintain current knowledge, skills and market awareness in all aspects relating to Public Safety.

- Support in-country marketing events including customer visits and co-development with in-country account management and presales.

- Able to travel as required, predominantly to provide training on integration requirements.

- Perform other duties as required.

Profile

- 5-8 years- experience in a similar role; presales, professional services and architecture.

- Expert in one or more of the following; security solutions, Video Surveillance, Video Analytics, biometric.

- Deep knowledge of end-to-end Public Safety technology.

- Experience in video and camera technologies in the surveillance market

- Experience in implementations and Integration of Intelligent Video Surveillance Systems.

- Hands-on experience in building labs, proof of concepts, demonstrations.

- Software development integration capability using Microsoft, REST and analytics (Pentaho).

- Software development and integration skills.

- Pentaho (analytics) capabilities desired.

- Exposure to complex environments including hypervisors and OS (Windows/linux).

- Basic IP Networking capability.
