Manager - Design and Procurement - Solar PV projects  Candidate’s Role:  Engineering and design for utility scale gird connected solar PV projects (esp. electrical design):  - Reviewing and optimizing the solar PV plant design for maximum generation through layout, array design, shadow analysis etc   - Ability to design AC & DC (HV & LV) systems, electrical schematics, string configuration and layout drawings.  - Operating solar analysis software like PVsyst or similar  - Identifying areas for design improvements and innovation to reduce cost and increase generation  - Modeling co relation between capex and plant optimization..  Procurement and contracts management for solar PV equipment - MW scale:  - Relationships with global and Indian supplier (modules / investors / transformers / cables etc)  - Selection of vendors, contractors, sub-contractors for project work  - Assist EPC players in vendor qualification and verify quotes received  - Candidate will also be involved in the overall construction and COD process and may need to travel to the solar project site (in India)  - O&M. Candidate must track the performance of plants, identify faults or suboptimal situations, develop alternatives and solutions, and ensure any implementation of changes is as per design.  Candidate Profile:  - 2+ years of experience in working in MW scale grid connected solar PV plants (within India or internationally)   - Understanding of Solar PV plant design   - Experience in procurement of key solar component   - Engineer from reputed institutions (IIT or similar)  Remuneration: As per market standards  Location: Delhi / NCR  Background of SolarArise:  SolarArise is an Indian solar asset ownership vehicle.
