Sokrati, a leader in Paid Search & Social Advertising, provides a sophisticated technology solution to efficiently manage Digital Marketing campaigns for several large brand clients in India. We are currently a 200+ people team; and growing extremely fast to gain more Digital Spends- market share with a mix of technology solutions & strong analytical services.

In pursuit of this, Sokrati seeks to hire talented Finance Controller at our office in Pune who'd help Sokrati's business to scale newer heights by delivering strong business performance for our clients and driving business efficiency in the company.

We would love to hear from you if can do following:

- Oversee the financial integrity and transparency of financial reporting.

- Ensuring compliances with appropriate regulatory & tax bodies

- Co-ordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.

- Working across business functions to allocate budgets and monitor ROI - particularly for customer acquisition and growth

- Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards to comply with Group standard policies and practices.

- Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.

- Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.

- Streamlining sales and receivables collection operations to enable aggressive growth

- Develop and maintain strong and consistent accounting and closing procedures that support both business and corporate requirements

- Conduct balance sheet and account reconciliation reviews with all locations

- Drive focus and achievement on the Controllership Scorecard.

- Drive Finance Transformation initiatives

- Support the post close process

- Actively engage with the business to understand financial statement performance and identify trends, take proactive approach to align continuous improvement projects with Financial Objectives & if you are / have :

- Chartered Accountant and/or MBA (Finance) with 5+ years of post qualification experience.

- Hands on or consulting experience with corporate finance

- Basic understanding of accounting practices

- Keen financial & business strategy acumen

- Excellent communication skills

- Prior experience in a media/ advertising company and/or a startup is a bonus.

- Having experience to oversee HR & Admin function would be an added advantage.
