Job Title: Head – Workforce Planning & Deployment

Reports To: Vice President – Human Resources

Work Location: Malad (West)

Position Purpose: Responsible for providing quality talent to internal customers within a specified timeframe with a continuous focus on building a talent pool for the future; track attrition; recommend & monitor actions on enhancing staff retention.

Key Accountabilities:

- Responsible for recruitments & enhancing staff retention for Sodexo India

- Focus on annual forecast, quarterly budgeting & monthly plans for all the business divisions & regions

- Liaise with the Business Heads, Function Heads and Sales team for Workforce Planning & Deployment

- Devise the corporate strategies to enhance the channels of sourcing candidates at all locations

- Establish tie-ups with Campuses, Institutions & agencies

- Analyse recruitment & attrition trends and recommend actions

- Source, hire and close positions for key positions as per specifications within stipulated time frame

- Optimise cost of hiring

- Build up talent pool through region & corporate teams

- Ensure & monitor process adherence

- Ensure administration of applicable tests and also recommend progressive testing methods for talent assessment for various functions

- Ensure 100% compliance on accurate & comprehensive background and reference checks to be conducted in all cases of hiring

- Build up strategies for and ensure seamless new mobilisations

Key Result Areas:

- Build and maintain a good quality database using the available resources to the optimum v.i.z. Job Portals,
Walk Ins, Advertisements, Employee Referrals, Institutions, Consultants, etc.

- Conduct offer negotiations for key roles and ensure the same is executed by the team members at all locations

- Introduce the new joiner to the concerned Functional Head & ensure completion of all joining formalities prior to deployment

- Keep track on market trends on compensation levels

- Conduct Exit Interviews for key positions and ensure the same is executed by the team members at all
locations

- Carry out branding through advertisements & job portals

- Ensure Induction & Orientation for all new joiners

- Ensure 100% compliance on accurate & comprehensive background and reference checks to be conducted
in all cases of hiring

- Monitor vendor performance and evaluate job portals for their effectiveness and maintain quality consultants in the panel at optimum cost

- Ensure timely roll out of Offer and Appointment Letters to prospective applicants at all locations across India

- Liaise with Compensation & Benefits team to ensure correct employee information is fed into the system

- Ensure maintenance of the HRIS system by way of inputs being provided for new joiners as per schedule defined

- Develop and maintain a strong rapport with employees at all levels

- Monitor individual wise KPI based performance for the team members across India

- Ensure all applicable working logistics for new hires

- Ensure provision of Staff Accommodation, Food & Transport for new hires at locations wherever applicable

- Keep track of month wise, division wise, region wise & site wise attrition
