Societe Generale - Senior Business Analyst (8-10 yrs)
Your role :
Work on application change requests and projects, taking full ownership of the change and all related activities including :
- Requirements gathering
- Solution proposal & Estimation
- Functional specifications & testing
- UAT coordination & User training
- Go live and Post Go live support
- Work closely with the user to understand the requirements and propose optimal solutions.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
- Adhere to the defined process through SDLC and PMLC.
- Understand agile practices followed by the team.
- Represent the team in steering committee meetings and provide accurate status on the deliverables to all the stake holders when ever required.
- Work effectively with other team members to imparting functional training and sharing best practices.
- Propose ideas to improve the application functionality and processes.
- Work on Paris or Hong Kong timings based on project requirements.
Your profile :
- Have 0 - 3 years hands on experience in projects as IT business analyst or end user of applications for Investment banks and Capital markets.
- Very good Academic credentials, Major in Finance / Commerce preferable.
- Strong fundamentals in OTC market - trading, risk management, operations and accounting.
Very good knowledge (and experience) in at least one of the following is required :
- Foreign exchange
- OTC Derivatives
- Fixed Income & Money Markets
- Good understanding of SDLC process and agile practices.
- Very good oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL would be an added advantage.
- Certifications in Business analysis, Risk management or market operations would be a plus.
