Social Media Manager - Mobile Ad Network (4-6 yrs)

One of the leading Mobile Ad Network is looking for a social media marketer who is an active blogger as well and has a sound knowledge of Mobile/IT Industry.

Position Overview

The Social Media Marketing Manager will create and implement the Social Media strategy for the company. Responsible for identifying the customer segments and the most relevant social media channels to engage develop brand awareness, persona, generating inbound traffic and encourage product adoption.

Principal Responsibilities

- Develops and manages overall social media strategy (objectives, metrics, strategies & tactics, timeline, accountabilities)

- Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.

- Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed

- Become an advocate of the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate

- Manage a Blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the company

- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

- Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications

- Encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services

DNA – Essential Skills

- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how they can be leveraged for targeting different customer segments

- Knowledge of blogging ecosystem

- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships

- Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary

- Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly

- Have a good knowledge of principles of SEO

- Community Management experience, a plus

- Excellent communication skills, especially strong presentation skills

- Good project management skills

- Proficient written and verbal communications with Strong analytical skills

- Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts

- Commercial awareness

- Confident, passionate and enthusiastic attitude

- Inquisitive by nature

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree / Masters in Business Administration (preferred)

Experience: 4-6 years of digital/new media on either agency or corporate side
